Molly Sayles

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Molly Sayles and I am a CT licensed music educator and percussionist working with students of all ages. In addition to teaching, I perform throughout the year. I value the role of both education and performance in creating meaningful musical experiences.

I am the Band Director at Cromwell Middle School, teaching grades 6–8. Students study a variety of genres including Symphonic, Classical, Jazz , and Latin music. Throughout the year, students develop through performing, creating, and responding to music, exploring its connections across disciplines.

 

I hold a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Teaching from Fitchburg State University and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Western Connecticut State University. I am an active professional member of the Connecticut Music Educator’s Association (CMEA) , the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) & the Percussive Arts Society (PAS).
